Basso’s adventure began with the welding of a steel frame. Meanwhile, the evolutions of over 45 years of history. But why abandon your roots when you can keep perfecting them?

A rebellion

Don’t accept things as they are and try to make them better, following your own vision. Alcide Basso, not satisfied with the construction standards of the time, set about redefining them. He began to study, break down and innovate the methods of construction, preparation of materials and creation of the frame.

The synthesis of a long research

Over the decades, the world of racing bicycles has been revolutionized by new materials and technologies. But Viper continues to represent the synthesis of Basso’s journey accomplished with a single purpose: to define the perfect construction of a steel frame.

The welding experience of the technicians is Basso’s most precious asset. Only expert hands allow to obtain a reduction of the weight together with a greater resistance to torsion and bending.

The frame and fork are welded with joints while the tubes are tapered for extreme performance and an essential and evocative aesthetic.
