Basso Main Partner of the 2023 UCI Gravel World Championship

A World Championship Palta to celebrate our devotion to gravel

Introducing the new Palta, a tribute to the deep connection between Basso and its territory, dedicated to the Gravel World Championships that will take place in our homeland.

Beauty, history, and art inspire our creation, proudly emphasizing the places where we were born and raised. In this way, we wanted to create a bicycle that expresses this connection and its determination to strengthen itself through gravel riding.

Unveiled for the first time at the Italian Bike Festival, the International Bicycle Show held at the Misano World Circuit, it will be showcased at all the other European fairs in the following months.

A livery that combines the cultural heritage of a territory with sporting passion

A special livery for Palta’s Gravel Race model. A celebratory color scheme that incorporates the colors of the Iris – which symbolize the World Championships – and blends them with one of the most evocative materials from the cultural heritage of the Veneto region: marble.

As a tribute to the sculptures of Antonio Canova and Palladian architecture, the glossy black and white livery has been given a marble effect.

A unique bicycle that strengthens the bond between the region and the sport we love, contributing to the growth of the discipline.

The Gravel World Championship is held "at our home"

The Prosecco hills, Lake Garda, the great and small cities of art, and the sprawling countryside that separates the Alps from the Adriatic Sea. Veneto is the place where we were born, the territory that shaped us into who we are.

Proud to support this important global event, to further solidify the bond with the region and the sport we love.

So, mark your calendars for Saturday, October 7th, and Sunday, October 8th, the dates on which the Gravel World Championship will take place, on a new and spectacular route. Two days that will go down in history not only for Basso but also for the entire Veneto region, an edition that will see not only professional athletes but also all the best amateur cyclists who qualified during the 16 stages of the UCI World Series.
