Witness firsthand the excitement of the Giro d’Italia and imagine standing on the legendary Monte Grappa, watching in awe as some of the world’s best cyclists pass by in pursuit of victory. But that’s not all! After the day’s events, we will toast to an incredible day and explore the charming streets of Bassano del Grappa.

Bassano del Grappa X Giro d'Italia

Here in Bassano we are surrounded by endless riding opportunities in whichever direction we choose to explore. Everything is possible from the high mountains featured in the Giro d’Italia to the rolling roads used by the many local pros. Wherever we decide to ride we are constantly reminded of our region’s history and beauty.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: The experience will start with a social evening ride around the hills of Bassano, get to know the area and the people of Bassano. 30-40km rolling terrain with post ride official welcome drinks

DAY 2: Ride to the stunning town of Valdobbiadene and roll through the Prosecco hills. You will smell the grapes and see the beauty of this area, and as always, the best way to do this is on two wheels. You will also have your first taste of Giro history by climbing the Muro di Ca’ del Poggio, as seen in many editions of this historic race. The route is 130 km long with 1,200 m of climbing

DAY 3: Neighboring Bassano del Grappa is the beauty of the Marostica Hills, a breathtaking landscape that rolls for miles with many ups and downs and challenging climbs, but rewarding in the same essence. You will be guided through this labyrinth of roads and enjoy a well-earned lunch with a medieval backdrop. 80km, 1800m climbing.

DAY 4: It doesn’t get much better than this! We climb the legendary Monte Grappa and summit this 27km beast while soaking up the atmosphere of unforgettable day to come. After refuelling and taking photos at the peak, we will descend back down to ‘Basso Bikes’ corner and get ready to watch the world’s best cyclists ride for glory in what should be a fearsome battle for the general classification.” 60km, 1700m climbing

DAY 5: Coffee spin to the wonderful hill top town of Asolo for gelato and coffee. A later start and easy Sunday cruise finished with watch the final stage of the giro

For this Basso Experience we partnered with our dear friends and cycling enthusiasts: Hotel Melodia del Bosco. Located at 1315m above sea level in the very heart of the Alta Badia region, surrounded by the stunning Dolomites. With incredible views and stunning mountain scenery, it will take your breath away even before you start the first climb.

Swiss Road Experience, JULY 24th - 29th 2024

Are you excited to discover the awe-inspiring cycling experience that will challenge you and push you to your limits? Andermatt, Switzerland is the perfect destination for passionate cyclists demanding those big summits. Powering up the inclines will be rewarded with incredible descends, free-wheeling with the wind in your hair and a smile on your face. Accompanied by former pro cyclist Mike Mono (check him out on the Instagram: click here) you will be guided through this ever-changing landscape, thick green forest and awesome glaciers. This rugged terrain is a match made in heaven to ride your Basso Bike and see its full capabilities. Don’t miss out on this unique Basso Experience opportunity.

Nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Swiss Alps, is an incredible destination for all cycling enthusiasts. The town is surrounded by a plethora of magnificent climbs that will leave you in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds you. Itinerary:

DAY 1 – Furkapass & Oberalpass 65km, 1700m climbing

We will start with the mighty furkapass, a 14km climb, which sets the tone for an epic experience in the Swiss Alps. Be ready to see road engineering at its best. It is famous for being seen in james bond’s goldfinger, where a curve on the east side has actually been named after james bond, called james bond strasse

DAY 2 – Queen stage 100km, 3000m climbing

According to Fabian cancellara, the nufenenpass is the hardest climb in switzerland. without any doubt, it is one of the most beautiful climbs in the alps. At 2478 meters, it is ranked as the highest paved mountain pass in switzerland. The incredible and inspiring route will simply leave you breathless.

DAY 3 – The final pass – Usen-Susten 60km, 2000m climbing

This pass was built during world war two, and is steeped in history and memories. It is a fitting end to an unforgettable experience in switzerland. a final climb to end a truly unforgettable experience which will live long in the memory.
