Jaki Dale takes the Tera Challange

YouTube meets the world of Basso bikes, turning into a personal challenge by Jacopo D’Alesio, aka Jakidale.

The famous Youtuber, with a following of millions on different social channels, is also and above all known for his “out of the ordinary” contents of daily life. It is no coincidence that he has decided to challenge his body and cover 260km with one of our bikes.

The challenge

The challenge was born thanks to the friendship with Igor Cobalchini, founder of the marketing agency Officine Venticinque in Milan, with whom we are activating various collaborations.

Igor and Jaki decided to embark on this adventure together, creating content that Jaki then posted on his channel. They came directly from Milan to our headquarters in Bassano, where we prepared our personalized TERA with the Jakidale logo.

To get the most out of the bike and promise an efficient and comfortable position, we have studied its correct positioning in the saddle, choosing the most suitable sizes for him. An essential step to fully exploit the potential of the vehicle, and to avoid uncomfortable situations during the journey.

The bike

After getting to know the BASSO brand, Jacopo immediately fell in love with our TERA GRAVEL. For this model, a geometry has been developed that combines handling and snappy acceleration, managing to maintain a comfortable position for long-range travel. Speed, precision, responsiveness. Jaki immediately expressed the desire to own this model, and therefore we satisfied him.

“The TERA bike is the most comfortable bike I’ve ever tried. I don’t have any kind of physical pain, despite the 260km non stop. And I’m not trained. It was a great experience, we saw beautiful landscapes and we didn’t have any problems on the side of the vehicle. No punctures, no issues during the ride. I highly recommend it ”says Igor.

For Jaki it was very challenging as he had no training on the bike, unlike Igor who has some experience. The journey was Bassano – Milan. 260km in just one day. They left at 6 in the morning and succeeded in their aim, arriving in Milan at 1:30 am. From a physical point of view it was very heavy, although they managed to keep their body under control at a nutritional level.

Congrats Jaki and Igor on this inspiring adventure!
